Nobody inspects a ten-dollar object. That is the whole mechanism. At forty dollars a buyer reads the material, checks the dimensions and looks at the reviews; at ten they add it to the cart. Three things, reliably. Items made in batches, where one process yields dozens of units — cold-process soap, poured glycerin bars, dipped or rolled candles. Items made from offcuts, where the material is essentially free because it is the waste from a larger job — leather keychains, bookmarks, small card holders. And items where the craft is genuinely fast: needle felting, simple knotwork, hand-stamping.
